AL’S CO UV was started in April of the year 2000. Its purpose was for the President/CEO, Albert J. Nuño, to offer his UV services to the UV CURING EQUIPMENT WORLD. In 1994, with 5 Years under his belt as Electrical/Mechanical Engineer for one of the UV Equipment pioneers “Brewer UV Systems” Albert decided to go at it on his own. First opportunity was assist with the introduction of Manufacturing to Lamp Supplier, TEC Lighting, in Brea, CA. At TEC Lighting, Albert, along with key partners designed and produced several equipment models for the Converting Industry. The products were launched under UV Research, which Albert became President/CEO of. He has continued to support these products by offering technical support and spare parts. Of these models, several have followed him on this New Endeavor, with AL’S CO UV. These products were used to Cure Inks, Coatings and Adhesives in many different market places. The primary focus has and continues to be the Narrow Web, Wide Web, Sheet fed Offset and Digital Sheet fed industries.

Today, AL’S CO UV has continued its quest to produce and supply quality products. We moved into a 3000 sq.ft., Facility in Chino, CA. A New member to the TEAM is Curtis Ainsworth of APOLLO COATINGS, whom has been providing UV and Aqueous Coatings to the Offset / Screen / Blanket and Roller Coater Industry’s for the past 25 years. Curtis origin to this market started as Vice President of California Fine Paper, a major supplier to Printers all over the US. Later he move to Sun Chemical, where he developed there UV Coating program. His efforts were instrumental in creating Sun Chemicals dominant position as a UV Manufacture. He then went on his own and formed Apollo Coatings out of Anaheim, CA. Apollo coating was the largest West Coast Manufacturer and Distributor of UV Coatings both standard and Specialty Coatings.

Albert & Curtis joined forces in January of 2009, to create an operation with unmatched expertise. This union will prove to be the missing link in most companies today, A FULL SUPPORT OPERATION FROM A-Z IN THE USE OF UV CURING PRODUCTS!
